February 2022 Wrapup

Announcing, the Mick Schafer Band will be back to the Northwest on July 30th for the annual Mulino Blues Festival in Mulino, Oregon hosted by Lightning in a Bottle records. This fulfills our promise to Johnny Wheels and the Swamp Donkeys to share a stage again. Hopefully the next of many.

Frank found a review that we got in Rome, Italy from a street paper called the Alias.

"The Mick Schafer Band presents Back to the Blues, nine recordings of intense and full of feeling blues rock. Slow and medium times abound that narrate a daring existence.

We selected If I Win Blues, Rainbow and Rich Boy perfect for driving along American highways."

Another summer booking to announce in the Portland, Oregon area. Save the date August 19th for the brand new Garages location in Lake Oswego.

KTUH Honolulu - University of Hawaii College Radio 90.1 in Honolulu opened their blues show last week with "She Woke Up" from our Back to the Blues record. Cool idea!

We got on the February 7, 2022 "Somethin' Else" playlist for KTUH 90.1 FM Honolulu, on the world wide wait & Channel 866 on Spectrum Digital Cable .
