September Wrapup from Mick Schafer Band

Writer's picture: The Mick Schafer BandThe Mick Schafer Band

The Dream Lady got developed and played at Clark's to a wonderful reception. More magic in Seaside and fun at the country jam.

In case you missed any of our September Social Media Posts below are a few or my favorites.

Thank you Cindy Happel for this sweet shot.

Monday Music. The song about the Vietnam War Draft gets toes tapping. The story behind this song is gratitude for getting an undraftable lottery number in 1969. Other men in the house party audience shouted their numbers, which were scarier ones. They had been draftable.

Friday Music. " Why does it make me so happy to sing about a break up that made me so sad? Mick Schafer after playing She Picked the Cat Over Me.

After Mick Schafer survived an attack from his dermatologist, he returned home to share a studio story.

Friday Music. We were deeply moved at the Seaside Farmers Market gig by a woman who shared her experience of hearing One Silken Scarf as a message from a friend that had passed away the day before.

Mick stopped by to listen and play at Bobby Keltons Country Jam last night at Vinyl Tap Bar And Grill. It was great fun.
